I had a great start and held the lead for 1 1/2 laps when I lost grip in the turn and am finally passed by Marlee Hill. There's a neck-in-neck race you can't see in the video between Corey Lung and me, until just the very end. It was close and neither of us was sure, but the judges awarded 2nd place to Corey. Great race, guys!

Very interesting video. You got a great start and drove well for your first year. You have a very valuable learning tool here. I would highly recommend sitting down and watching this heat with a veteran driver whom you respect. They could give you quite a few pointers on how to set up for the turns, crossing wakes, etc. You will learn a lot. Pay close attention to the RPMs you're turning.
