I was thinking of Ray Hoot as well but I thought he won 1 time in each but could be wrong

I was thinking of Ed Thirby.

I believe Ray Hoot won 2 in a row in 500 R. And I vaguely remember him winning a couple of Novice 350 titles. Was going to guess Pater on OSY, but took a shot in the dark.

I was there when Ray won 500 once but I was thinking when he bought the boat and motor from Rick Love that he didnt get 2 wins in 500 but you very well could be right.
I remeber his novice win as well as he raced against my brother and was the guy to beat out her.

But my memory is not all that good anymore lol.

Just put in Ed as he has one in anitques and so many others why not novice lol but I can hardly imagine him in novice 350

Jon is correct , sorry Todd. Ray won Novice 350 in 85 and 87 and came back to win 500R in 02 and 03. Novice 350 is one of the few classes Ed never won in.
