The one thing I know about Jeff is , if he is under the bus he is fixen it....great but sad story about Jeff comeing home from Rockaway when his tire blew and has to go under his motor home, gas pouring out of his fuel tank and he is trying to stop it by putting his finger in the hole, gas going all over him...But the fuel is to expensive to let go out on the ground. Later found some rubber off his racing shoe and a screw that got the gas stopped. Going Racing is great Fun!

The weather is looking good for next weekend at McAlester. Winds at 6mph or less out of the SE on Sat and S on Sunday. The wind from that direction should have the least impact on the race course. Rain forecast for Fri, Sat, and Sunday is zero. Good job Leonard! It's good to see you have influence with the one that counts. Jack

McAlesters Parks dept. has cleared a landing and put four dump truck loads of gravel in our hot pits..There is plenty of shade in the pits. We will manage the pits so we can utilize the shade, which is needed in Oklahoma. Jeff will have a tent and tables to work out of the inspection area. This is going to be a great race with everything coming together.

There is a south slope to the hill in front of the Dock that the clock sets on. Google earth shows the dock, due southeast of the dock is a slue, a small area that is on the south side of the most east area....the trailers are lined up on each side creating a ally. The motor homes can be behind those trailers and parked after all the trailers have gone in...There is a level area less than fifty yards on the west where most cars will park. This the best area for a motor home that needs to be level...I will be there wed. night to help you find a good spot..There is really no bad spots..the further you are from the Hot pits the closer you are from the race course, a great place to see the race.
