Kudos to the Toronto racing club ! The Waterford ,Ont event is the first of four,( yes, that is 4 races) they will host this season. it has been a while since I have seen this many new faces in helmets, 8 A hydros in the chute, and eliminations for 20ssh. While other classes were conspicuous by their absence, this race was a great success. Saturday nite featured a FREE spagetti dinner and live band. Though too short a course to suit me, the site is great...no porta potties required. The facilities even had hot water and a showers! ( However, the "camping fee" was a bummer)
    Ya'll shoulda been there.

Hunter, always a pleasure having your clan stay with us, you put on a great FEH show w Keegan/Werner/Dalton in the mix as well.
Hoping you can make Gravenhurst June 23-24, get the Noury's up from NH.
Pls advise if it's possible at your end, and we'll arrange for free camping with racers in town.
The GH crowd love the speed/sound, and a nice long course to open up.
    T850 was spectacular racing, 5laps/heat, 2 heats.
Drags will be at GH as well, many have newr rides.

    I'll post more on another thread, here's a teaser from 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wTknE3-RGM
Stock Outboard Racing!....because other sports,....golf, football, baseball, etc....only require one Ball!

What a great week-end! I thrashed to have everything ready and it was well worth the effort.

Some great racing was held with spectators cheering from all sides of the tri-oval course.

The new clock worked great. I know because Scott and I were the first ones to truly test it out and lost.

Also, we had a hopefully new driver (for next year) try a boat out and despite standing the boat on end on his last lap he recovered and returned with an ear-to-ear smile saying that was really fun. I'm glad Andre had fun time crewing and running some test laps. He hopes to attend the next Ontario race as well.

The dinner was great with pasta, salad and a choice of dessert. The band also was playing as hard as we do on the course.

Don't miss race #2 in Ontario! It will be worth it. Gravenhurst even got quite a bit of Canadian national coverage last year, as Erik points out in his link prior to mine.

      See you all in Gravenhurst.
