You enter the water in the Hot Pitts which requires a arm band and release signed. Testing on Friday, June 22, from 10am to 5pm. Must sign release before testing. Pit manger will park you in order of arrival.

Pelican address is not working for the GPS. Check map quest the pits are at the end of Lake Shore drive and the race course is on the east side of lake.

schedule;Sat. novice, ser, ah,eh 2flight cmodh, dr,csh repeat the two flights. Sunday;er,25modh,seh, 2nd flight novice, dh repeat. Driver's meeting 11am, race starts at 12;30pm, Testing 8am to 11am. If good weather is predicted. This allows less motor changes and gets us home sooner on Sunday. We will run the schedule without a repeat if the weather is likely to change. We welcome new NBRA members to take home some of the tow and prize money.

We would welcome C mod runabout drivers and C stock runabouts. C stock runabouts are legal c mod. So far we have not had three to sign up. If three do show they would run in the last flight.

You run through the two flights and then repeat, this allows more time for minor repair, takeing deep breaths, etc. Everyone should know that you run two heats in a flight and it's not back to back. One reason for this is in a national Championship event you must weight after each heat.

Novice and D hydro is the second flight on Sunday, we can delay the second heat of SEH if we need time and run the second heat after the D hydro. Those old motors need some time to catch their breath....

Novice entry fee will be $10 plus 12 for nbra and Novice will get special trophies that we have which are hats. They will not get cash prizes. Novice Class is anyone with a membership that runs a boat, runabout or hydro and a yamato motor with a restrictor, also the J class is included in this class. Please look up the rules for this class at the NBRA web site. This allows a 10 year old to buy a C or A hydro and race it with a restrictor, the speeds around the AX speeds but with a much bigger boat. When he or she reaches fourteen, they remove the restrictor and can race until they get married and their wife tells them to quit.

A consideration in the development of a schedule is that we need to keep people around the race site on the second day because they are necessary to fulfill the many duties required to pull off the program. I surely hope that those that finish racing on Sat don't cut and run. We need them to stick around. Please do so! Jack
