FE Yamaha

Have been looking for the rules and specs for the FE Yamaha on the APBA site. Have had no success. Can anybody help me out.

Potential?

I do not know much about FE, have many people tried the Yamaha powerhead in this class? Here in Alaska this is the engine of choice for racing. The difference though would be that we use them in the "Fishing Motor" configuration, with the stock ratios and on heavier boats.

They are very tough and can scream without limiters for hours on end and survive. I saw some photos on Scream and Fly of a Yammie with triple chambers on a FE Runabout, anybody know anything about that rig?

Yamaha FE Runabout

That Yamaha runabout is ours. We are trying to find out the differences in specs between APBA and NBRA. It ran OK last year but we are trying to get it running better.
