      That Race was at Whitney Point, NY... Hate to say it but I was there and was only 8.

          Whitney Point..............

          If memory serves me right Dave Dewald had a bad crash in his elimination heat in 25ssr and suffered a concussion...........hence no 24-P in the feature!!

          I think he blew it over!!...........that was the only time i ever remember David crashing!

            I remember either seeing the video or picture of the crash and David basically tucked himself into the cockpit as it was going over.

                  I think 1987 was the first year...I seem to remember one being on display at Lawrence Lake in Sept of 86...could be wrong thought. I ordered my first XS in Sept of 87 and picked it up in Portland Oregon in Jan. of 88.....

                    John is still around.. He was at my wedding last July.. I see him once in awhile around town, but my dad sees him more often.
