Come on Lee, you can use some of my red tape that I use to cover my "Illegal" helmet. How can we have more 1100 runabouts then 350 hydros at this race? Jamie and I will be there, lets race!

unfortunately the pit area is not able to support a lemans start. Clock starts only as designated on the circular.

Also occording to this: https://social.apba.org/uploads/File...bddf2022b1.pdf the new OSY 400 rules will not be in effect for this race. Thanks.

sounds like karting is going well for you. 90 minutes seat time for 65 bucks is very attractive. did they offer you a roll of orange duck tape to make your 2600 dollar carbon helmet legal last weekend?

sure going to miss pitting together and all your help. i get your decision however.

Bill, from your comments, I assume (miss pitting together) this means you are supporting region 10 and racing at Castle Rock? Correct?

                Jetty start, OSY-400

Kyle is correct on no jetty start at Silver Lake, Castle Rock...I guess we could, but not enough space to do so. Following procedure, Phase one of the OSY-400 rule was approved and is effective 30 days from April 9, 2012, or in our case (region 10), the first race is inboard Moses Lake.

Not trying to open a can of worms, but jetty start/record course for OSY-400?

Newberg is my favorite party- I mean RACE. Bill you can count on my CSH for Memorial Day Weekend. I'll probably have to buddy up with someone to get down there, any takers?

"miss pitting together" is an understatement jim. as a fellow CORA member and my closest friend i have shared many good times and laughs with lee. it's truly unfortunate we are loosing such a long time racer.
Sure hope so, also. All we can do is encourage folks to attend, we can't force them. Always a good time at Newberg.

Hopefully, Lee will come to his senses and join us again at some point in the near future as he still has many good years ahead of him in boat racing.

                    See you next weekend.
                    Jim

Glad everyone had a good time testing down at the site. Except for moby grape and theyre new hydro driver. I'm sure the Silver Lake Resort folks loved it though. Don't forget the sanction says no testing wednesday, thursday, or friday of this week. Thanks. See you in 5 days!

According to the race director, if we get 3 entries he will put us on the schedule. So I'm looking for at least 2 other entries. It appears MGR may be interested.... Do any other CSR drivers want to go play in 25ssR???

I'm out for the weekend. Made travel plans a while back and you guys had the nerve to put a race on that day! But don't you worry, we've negotiated a mystery driver to take my place in Jimi O's 305....
