The river was very high but we had a great time testing..I think Sean was impressed with his new high flyer except for the broken skid fin bracket..Broke in the first turn so all he could do was straitaway runs but those went well.
Also he got to drive his first REAL race boat but we could not convert him yet..The D mod was really flying with the readjusted 40 merc..Thank you Larry Mac.. Just had some issues with the new foot not feeding enough cooling water so back to the drawing board..Thats why we test.. So we used the old foot and got some runs in..Mike - One of the Montana Boys

force fed system..Have no provision for a water pump in the Tietze tower I have..I will keep trying to get it to work..May have to give my set up a little tuck to force more water.. Also folks have told me to do what I am working on in the photos..Make a channel in the housing to channel water to the pick up holeMike - One of the Montana Boys

Dave I am also looking for a bigger hose fitting to allow more water flow..
On another note during testing I became really old which is probably why I flattened the satelite dish at home as we left for testing..Now nobody will drop the whole thing..Also I guess they figured I was not to old to be the first Montana NBRA commisioner at our club meeting Saturday nightMike - One of the Montana Boys

Be careful on how big of a fitting you put on that thing. To large and it will snap off while under power. I burned up a decent 3 holer with the stock fitting supplied. It was to large of a piece, and with the vibrations of a Super E, it snapped off flush with the housing.
Another hole up front should do just fine. You don't want to much water going through, it will slow you down. Place the hole at the front leading point. Unless you are running it wicked high, it should solve your issues. Also, elongate the hole like the other one, don't just drill a round hole. Be a real mod guy, and get the file out...
