...the forecast is not so encouraging for Tabor City this weekend. Will the threat of some thunder showers prevent racing ?? We are about ready to head down, but it is way too far to go and get rained out. Whatta ya'll think ??

I saw the forecast as typical weather for this area. There is always a chance of afternoon thunder storm. Looks like the weather man will be right either way. Good thing about Tabor City is we usually get on the water early and finish up early.
No problem. Lightening will put racers on hold, but rain ... hey, boat racing = wet anyway. If rain hampers visibility add a couple mid-straight markers so drivers can find their way to the turn.
No problem! I will do my best to make sure the weather is beautiful with no rain, and plenty of sunshine. But let's be real, no one can control mother nature. I will say that the forecast can change 10 times between now and this weekend. All we can do is think positive, and hope for nice weather. Hope you can make the trip
