Hello Everyone,
New to the forum and the whole internet thing in general. A little about me: My name is Skip and I own a small boat/boat restoration shop in Upstate NY. Mostly work on old Chris Craft, Merc, ect. Some newer stuff too, but my favorite is bringing old wooden boats back on the water.
I'm restoring a 1957 Lloyd E-class hydro with a built 265 Chevy. It has been my pet project for many years, and finally she is almost ready to go on to a new owner. The problem I'm having is trying to find some race history on my baby. All i know so far is that the boat came from FL(according to the PO) and always raced on the east coast. The last number on the hull was E-7, and i have searched high and low for any info on her, but i'm coming up with nothing. If there is anyone out there that can point me in the right direction or if you know someone who knows or has any access to anything that may be relevant to my search any help would be greatly appreciated. I promise to post pictures soon, but like i said, im new to the whole internet deal and would have to have my shop-hand post the pictures for me.
