thanks!
Yes, Lyle is my Dad, as Mike pointed out. He is currently running my SEH rig in the NBRA. I can tell you he is ready to back up his titles from last year. Might have a few projects we worked on this winter... I run for Dave Nichols out of Sanger Texas. Worked out real great for us. Dad gets to race my SEH rig, and I get to race some very good EH and ER rigs.
The closest NBRA race to MI is in Centrallia IL. It is the big nationals this year, we will definately be there. I have talked to a few folks and I know of several others from the Tri-states area that will be attending as well. NBRA pays out some good money for Tow Money, and usually has decent prize money as well. So the trip for fuel is usually a lower cost trip than most. We raced all over the U.S. last season, ran the full NBRA schedule and ended up spending about $500.00 or less all season long for just about everything. Bad thing is, with all that saved money from gas, we spent more on beer and fun at the races ! LOL ! They throw some doozies for parties in the Pits at the races. They usually do a couple off site parties too that are always top notch. I would be happy to help you out with any questions you have about the NBRA. I am a commisioner in the NBRA. Just give us a shout, Dad or myself.Dave Mason
