So I see you have been peeking in my garage again. My new paint job is coming along.........sort of . Anyway this is a fantastic venue, probably one of the most friendly to both drivers and pit crews alike. With testing scheduled for Friday afternoon what's not to like. Oh and by the way the Sweeney's are fabulous hosts, thank you. See you all there !

            Camping

Or, if you want you can just pitch a tent in our yard.

Are campers allowed in the pits or do we make res. at the camp ground?

There is no camping in the pits. That said you can park your rig in the "pit parking" area during normal race hours. Just as an FYI the State Park is very nice, easy in and out for big rigs.

                Sam,

                  Jim,
Motorhome and tent camping at the park - not in the pits. (less than a mile away). Call 866-644-6727 for reservations.
There are a couple motorhomes belonging to the race committee that stay in the pits for overnight security.

Also, for those in need of a hotel - there are several in Delaware. A Comfort Inn and a Best Western are both a couple miles away.
                  Hope that helps.
