Walmart camping section comes in a roll 6 ft long only a half inch thick and the color is blue just double it. Kids floor foam
I use closed cell foam, with interlock jigsaw edging, 4 squares at 24sqin x 1/2", approx $24, HDepot/Lowe's. Cut to width of your cockpit secure w 2way velcro tape. Put 2 peices end to end, 4', or cut to size.
