Deck Racing will bring the trusty old 100S with hopefully a trusty KG7. We are also bringing two Hal Kelly FOO LINGS with KG4s. We don't have hydro's yet. We are looking for a full quickie gearfoot either long or short shaft for backup motors. Thanks.

If I show up to the Classic inspection soon with that set up, make sure you swear at me and send me in the other direction.
Only engines noted to be out of production for 25 years, nothing about age of boats in the post by Jeff Brewster 59S. Seems you are OK with the boat.

        Gents,
This raises a question...Which currently legal Stock motors (aside from the 55H) have become legal Stock Classic engines recently? OMC "A" engines? Yamato Y-80? 102? Merc 44XS? Merc 25XS? What about the various Champion Hot Rods, American Hot Rods, etc? The definition of Stock Classic my need to be tightened up a bit. Mike Raceboat61-S

Am I the only one who finds that quite funny?

PS - Not a poke at you 61S... a poke at the state of the sport in North America.
