        Ya,You could actually sit on it with the box and go for a ride.He built it and its 1/4 scale to a full size unlimited with a real turbine.

                All depends on the size of the turbine. Those go for anywhere between $2-6,000!

                      1/8 Scale Thunderboats run 11cc nitro engines with boat lengths in the 43" LOA range. There is a very substantial movement to 1/6 scale "gas" Thunderboats running 28cc Zenoa motors (with tuned pipes) with boat LOA around 50" or so with speeds very comparable to nitro. Check out Jim's RC Boat Dock on line. By the way Bob Austin (Austin Runabouts) is producing some of the best gas RC props out there. Check out the pics.

                        That was back in 1990-1996 so nothing that I can remember in digital so I think we still have one in the barn I could clean up..I sold most of my stuff..In fact my 1966 Cabover Bardahl is at the race boat museum on display..I made a ton of boats for folks back then..Lots of money involved in that sport too..

                        Most of our pictures back then were video on VHS tapes
