In the rule book the part numbers on the transfor covers and exhaust plates are for 1985 till 89 If you look up the parts before this,1983 lets say all the part numbers superceed over to the right number.. I have made wax molds and these parts and there are identicle why cant they be used or have they not been look at and not updated.. help

You can use the older parts, in most cases the superseded numbers are better parts.
