New D boat

Yah,....it does hurt my eyes when I see it in shop.....But I do have some cheap sunglasses to cut the glare down. Just need to find a name for new boat...any ideas out there?

Here is a pic of my new Tohatsu D boat in front of shop. Ran a hose to a tank under lower unit and test fired motor a few minutes after pic was taken. So far so good....testing everything in less then 3 weeks.

New Tohatsu D boat

Here is a pic of my new Tohatsu D boat in front of shop. Ran a hose to a tank under lower unit and test fired motor a few minutes after pic was taken. So far so good....testing everything in less then 3 weeks.

testing in 3wks??? Whats the frikkin hold up??? ****, me and Guido just finished up testing our D's this afternoon (until dusk).............seems we are DONE testing the D's now and are ready to go racing...............booya!!

Testing? Well....I sorta started from scratch...new boat, new motor (rebuilt) and I did everything myself, aside from shoving pistons down holes....so you all have to cut me a little slack. Aside from the fact that my dad died on me and I had to get his estate ready to sell...blah blah blah. I will be ready for 2012 D stock hydro season with new boat, motor, props...you name it. I am ready for the battle. Game on...Game on!

Tohatsu

Boat is officially ready for the water....just need to attach steering wheel and figure out why motor does not die when kill switch is pulled and I am ready to test. Have new props coming, race fuel on order, blah blah blah. Should be a fun year in DSH...I would assume Darren is going to be faster then last year and Gweedo has always been quick, Todd says he is good to go, Bill Dingman has some fast equipment....should be a fun year. (assuming we can afford to go to races with gas the way it is) David
