This would be great Doc..Especially the Lucas one..Keep us informed on the developments.. I really want to work another NBRA race into this year for us..

We just need a place where camping and the pits are real close since we have our handicapped son..

How do you all come up with all the tow money??

If we could make it to a race back in the midwest which one would you recommend with camping right close to the pit area?? Maybe with power hook ups?

Different race site this year. I've been told it is the City Park. Don't know about camping there. It's where we raced two years ago. Jack

We have decided that we want to support a NBRA race this year other than our own.. What we are looking for is a place with camping in the pit area since we have a handicapped son who stays in the motorhome..I also want to run heats on both Saturday and Sunday to make it worth wild for the 1800 mile trip and tow money is nice and power would be a bonus but not required..We had already decided on Centralia but you only get to run two heats on either Saturday or Sunday but not both so we are needing more info on other races so that we can finalize our schedule and vacation..

thanks for any info: would like to consider all suggestions, we are looking for fun so Nationals are not a priority and want to meet more NBRA folks

One of our best race courses, that has power for motor homes is Pineville, La. It is May 19-20. Im not sure how much tow money, but it's a great place to race early in the season, will be warm, ususaly in the low 80's. You should arrive early on friday to get a plug in.. motor homes are very near the pits. We usually run a mile course. Centraila is a great place too.

                            Well

                            Mike,

I still think Centrallia would be a good spot for you. Power hook ups above the pits, it is usually much cooler in the camping area than the pits. It is a short 50 yard walk to the camper area. There is the best spectator viewing area up there too. You could pit from up there too, there is a couple spots and have your motorhome still with your trailer coupled. It is not as easy to get into the water though. Buring Vernon always pitted up there. Sniders did as well. You will most likely meet more of the NBRA folks at this race. We all try to make all the NBRA races, but as you know, sometimes it is hard to do it all.

I don't know anything about the Texas race sites as they are new sites. But Dennis Burke and Gardner Miller will make it happen and happen well. They are the backbone of the LSORA.

I am thinking we may just come to Centralia just to meet everyone and visit..Since I would only get to run one day we may just leave the boats behind and save some on fuel..
