  • Yamato 302 Tuning wheel and Tuned pipe

    Hi im from Australia and we run a 302 Yamato powered tunnel hull and was wondering if someone makes the wheels for tuning purposes and a tuned pipe? thanks Michael

    You will find a bunch of threads and posts that will have lots of information on 302 pipes...


    Check with Dudley Malone in Oklahoma.

      Yes lots of info and options available for the 302 stuff , the American class is called C-Mod or CMH .

      There is also a group on here called C-Mod started buy me with members who race this class and info on where to get mod stuff pipes ect .

      And feel free to hit me up for any info as well , what state are you racing ?

          You can run a tuned pipe exhaust system, set the motor at any height on the transom, use three or four blade props and put a nose cone on the gear foot for a water pick up system..No real mods are allowed to the internal part of the engine especially if you may want to go back to stock some day..

            In the US you have to leave the engine itself stock NO mods , you can how ever play with pipes and fit a water pick up on the foot so you can raise the engine up also you can fit a fuel pump and mount gas tank in boat lowering your center of gravity .

            In AUS the spec's are alittle more slack ,you are able to play more with things , but most are close guarded secrets you need to work on R&D .
