    That's a good looking 4-stroke! Wonder what it weighs?

    And the intake looks as if it could take long, straight tunnels with a side-facing carburator (s) down the line somewhere.

      I couldn't find the old Yamato 4 stroke thread in a few minutes of searching, but here is more info from Japan (via the importer in England) on the 4 stroke 400 series Yamato:

      We have heard from the factory that the Yamato 402 motor will not be introduced to the stadiums before 2008
      That would mean no 400 series 4 stroke Yamatos here until 2009 at the soonest. That gives some perspective on how near or far the "future" is.

        ha ha

        I could drive you guy's nuts with questions about that 4 stroker. It will be interesting to see the first inspector trying to measure the lift, duration, centerline and lobe seperation on the valve train. Or does the whole thing go south with the first guy to grind his own cam?
        Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most.
