Is that your fin putting up all that spray? there's a lot of work going into that front plume.

        Just beautiful!

              Testing

Seagull170: I run the same fin that I sell for C-stock thru 500 Hydro, its just tilted under at 3 Degrees. It makes the boat hookup harder in a turn.

Marc: Thanks, yes thats one of your rear cowls. I purchased 2 of them from Nic recently. I like the low sleek profile and the width at the rear. Very nice mold work.

Daren: No wind, glassy water and 42 deg temp. I couldn't pour enough fuel to that VRP. In the video, 104 first run. 110 second run, I had to turn the wheel to bring the bow down. Larry's just starting to build me a new boat, so I wanted to confirm some changes. Same design with a few bottom changes.

                Boat looks great Lee,

I'd say its runs pretty **** good for being my old "stock as a rock" backup motor. I can't wait until you get the trick one fixed

Happy New Year and best of luck to you in 2012 Buddy!

The question wasn't really about your fin, it was whats causing that plume of water from the back of the righthand sponson.

Gee, when I look at it the plume is coming off of the left sponson. Jack

you guys drive on the wrong side of the car and left side of the road don't you? lol

lee's right sponson isn't even touching the water. that spray is from the turn fin off the back of the left sponson (that isn't touching the water either).

We drive & fix the steering on the wrong side, I don't think so!
OK so maybe I mixed up my left & right...

Lets not steal this thread, ripping it out of each other.

Just remember what language we speak & that it's been 2012 here at least four hours longer than it has been for you, we must be in front.
