Seattle Outboard Association, along with the Hydroplane and Raceboat museum, is looking for families that want to build new C stock hydros or J stock hydros starting in late January. This is a very low cost way for people to get involved in racing, with the upfront cost for the kits provided by the museum...and Seattle Outboard usually finds used motors and safety gear to borrow for the first year you race....it's a great deal. We have five slots open this year...and you have your choice of either a Sorensen C stock hydro kit or a Sorensen J hydro kit...The C hydro kits are newly updated, and the J kits have proven to be front runners. Soa and the museum will provide all of the tools needed, and there is always experienced woodworkers there to help you with project. If interested, please contact Dave Anderson from SOA at 425-246-4710, or call David Williams at the museum at 206.764.9453.

What a Deal!
This is fantastic for folks that are fortunate enough to live near the opportunity. I would jump all over this but the commute from Texas would be a bit extreme I think.
Big thanks to those who put this all together. You are great ambassadors for the sport."In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm and three or more is a congress". -- John Adams
