2012 race dates?

I see that there is a race scheduled for August 25-26 at Eatonville Wa. I was sorry to see that that is the same date that Trout CreeK is scheduled in Mt. We was hoping to see some new racers to race against from the Wa. area. This would be a good chance to race against people you may never see again and see how you stack up.

Eatonville, WA besides the last 2 years (because of issues with the park managament) have been the last weekend of August since i've been racing (1996). We are back to the orginal date. Anyone from the Montana, Idaho, Spokane area are always invided to any SOA races to see who stacks up....

Kyle I know scheduling can be a problem and you just got to do what works out best. All I was thinking was this would be a good time to race people you never will probably race with again, after all a 2000 mile road trip to go boat racing isn't something you do very often.

MHRA 2012 Tentative Dates

Here are the MHRA 2012 dates as I understand them to be.

June 15th, Racer School - Constantine MI.

June 16th & 17th, The Great Lakes Challenge on the St Joseph River in Constantine MI.

July 31st through August 4th, The 2012 Stock Outboard Nationals at Grass Lake MI.

September 7th Racer School – Grass Lake MI.

September 8th & 9th, The Wild Ones Regatta in Grass Lake MI.

September 15th & 16th, The Mecosta County Regatta in Big Rapids MI.

We Love Augusta but…there are some problems / scheduling conflicts with that site that don’t seem to have an easy solution for 2012.

2012 East coast schedule question

Howie,

Thanks for posting the schedule for this season.

Last fall I believe that Bob Dunlap had posted that the Mod Winter Nats were going to be in Jesup April 14-15, 2012.

In postings for the Ocoee March race I saw mention of the Mods.

What is the status of The Jesup race as I didn't see it on the tentative schedule you posted earlier.

Jesup is still on hold for now. Southeast GA has been in a severee drought and can't seem to buy any rainfall to turn things around. We have folks monitoring the lake for change.

Looks like the STOCK WinterNationals will be in Lakeland, we are waiting for confirmation on a date from the city council.

MOD WinterNationals are still in limbo with Tabor City, NC as the early leader. If they go there I believe the date will be April 20/21/22.

MRC will be hosting J/Stock/Mod race June 23-24 at Rochelle, IL and tentatively a race August 18-19 maybe at Beloit, WI or maybe Elgin, IL.

Driver's schools at Rochelle and possibly at Elgin if we end up there.
