One mans opinion i guess, There are many people that think that way about car racing/Motorcyle racing and air shows. I do like how he ended it by saying there was a helava lot of people in town. (I bet the stores/Bars and hotels around town were happy the races were there). I dont think that many people would be there just to watch him see the sun set

Believe it or not Mallory Square in Key West, Florida has been rated one of the top ten places around the world to watch the sunset and does actually draw a huge crowd every evening :-) weather permitting.

      Just saying :-)

That article just ooozes with eliteist venom.
        Listen to the attitude.

Biting the hand that fed him?

I would bet he is retired and from the motorcycle industry as well according to what he said. Talk about hypocrisy and gall. He made a living off motorcycle racing and probably at least some retirement and now he has the gall to complain about boat racing in his backyard now that he lives in paradise. As bad as the tree huggers with redwood decks who have no neighbors because they live on the edge of a national forest.
            My 2 cents.

              Eedjit!

He should move to Seattle. He'd fit right in with Mayor Ten Speed and his ilk.

This guy must be a barrel of laughs at Fantasy Fest!!

I don't mind that he feels the way he does... he's entitled. But what in the world makes him think anyone else gives a sh*t about what he thinks? You don't like the race? Stay home.

I dig what this guy is tryin' to do with living secluded and all that. But if he wanted to do it in Key West he probably should have been there like 60-70 years ago. That's when I dug on the Keys man and it was a blast. Rum was cheap and so were the women.

This guy has a right to his opinion, misguided as we may feel it is. However, the pollution problems and disease levels were much higher in the life "Without an engine or fuel burning."
Back in the day Key West was knee deep in horse s@%t and the stench of rotting conch shells
I'll take the smell of high octane fuel and a nice roostertail a sunset any day!!
