25XS legal in 350 mod runabout?

Watched a video from the nationals for 350 mod runabout and there was 2 25xs engines running and did very well against the modded omc's.Was just curious if they are legal for the class.Looked at the rules and it said the 25ss engine is legal.Didnt know if that meant the old 25 engine or the xs.Thanks.

Note: It is the intention of the manufacturer and the MORC that
the 25XS engine be raced as received from the manufacturer
without modification.
This is just the first note on the complete tech listing for this engine in this class.
