  • Stolen hydro alert in WA State!

I'm just passing this information along. Here is what I know-

    Bob Watringer's missing a C-Stock Pavlick.

Some time between October 14th and the 21st, while Bob was in Abu Dhabi, the Pavlick CSH was stolen off the top of Volvo. The tie down ropes and the cargo straps were cut.

The theft has been reported to police, who suggested monitoring Craig’s List and E-Bay. Likewise we should be keeping an eye open for somebody offering a deal on a C-Hydro...I don't have a picture, but It's natural wood with Pavlick decals and the black on white 24-R on each side.

    Is this guy that dumb?

I can see stealing motors, etc. Which has happened to me before! BUT really a hydro? Who the hell is going to buy that, that doesn't know it's stolen?! At least the metal you can melt down and sell without it looking like a motor.

Can't wait to catch this idiot! Sorry to hear bob. I'll be on the look out!

I am sorry that has happened. I just checked http://allofcraigslist.org/ and nothing is listed...will keep checking periodically. With this tight of a community, it will be found if the idiot is going to try to sell it.

When it comes to boat racing and the wife, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission, and of course I spent a number of nights sleeping on the couch!

I once asked Elmer Grade back about 1982 why he always removed his powerheads and locked them in his trailer--his response was not very complementary to fellow boat racers.

People will steel anything several weeks ago someone stole a chain from our Horse Barn--go figure.

Dishonesty is the lazy man's method of achieving success.

              Just my opinion.

                    Theft

A few years back a bunch of us had stuff on Dick Rautenburgs trailer after coming back from nationals....thieves broke in and stole some motors, props and helmets....I can understand stealing my helmet, but props? And what on earth are scumbags gonna do with a Yamato 302? We had a couple of 44XS's on rack inside, and if memory serves me correct the thumb screws were loose....the motors were most likely to heavy to get off of rack. I have my suspicions as to who lifted the stuff.....but...you know how it is. Just to show you how nasty people can be...my neighbor across the street had his truck broke into, and all they stole was the change out of the ashtray. I mean, come on......
