Attendees of the AOMCI Michigan fall meet at Mark Suters were able to view a very special build put together my Mod engine builder Tim Kurcz.
Named the "Midnight Star -Virgo"
Tim pulled out all the stopes on this one by building a one of a kind lake racer 56.6 cu. in. OMC triple by turbo charging it!
The following pictures give detail to this 150 HP/11.5 psi boosted torque monster that is said to accelerate so quickly when the throttle is squeezed that your good for about 4-5 seconds before backing off the throttle is required. Two 850 class mod racers that had a chance to drive it recently at a test session said they never had driven anything like it.
