Looks like Jack will run all 4 J classes - Notced " NO PRIZES "on the sanction, long ride for many of the racers . A little recoginition helps build a desire to return to this race every season.

I donated the trophies for the J classes at past Tabor City races. I'm in the construction business and it ain't what it used to be. Obama called and said that I should recieve my stimulus package anyday now?!. Hopefully I will be able to supply the kids with trophies in the future,as they are the future.

I got my stimulus package today! its a pack of newports 100's a free two piece chicken dinner at KFC and a 10 dollar savings bond.

As Steve said we will run the class if we have enough entries. This goes for all classes that were on the sanction. The ones left off just typically aren't run down this way.

I didn't mean to start the North vs South war again ( we won it by the way). I just think it is great if a driver gets a little recognition for his or her effort. Awards are a great way to remember the race , and they seem to collect all the dust in the house, making cleaning much easier ..

Don't get me started about North vs. South! What I said was, with all the out of pocket money that I spend on these races, trophies just aren't in the budget. Put on a few races and then you will understand! But I'm not complaining.
