    towers

I built the towers as there is an order for them. Here is a pic of a tower under construction that will be on its way to a gentleman in Canada this week. I have also added a pic of the Goller tower that my design is based on. The top plate has been extended to mimic the stock steering bar bolt hole locations that the APBA kit bolts to. The intention is to bolt the pipe hanger to the top of the plate and the steering bar to the bottom sandwiching the top plate of the tower between them for maximum strength while maintaining ideal steering geometry so steering cables don't come loose when the wheel is turned. I prefer to mount the towers to the Yamato clamps. However, I have written the cnc program to produce the top plate for the Mercury clamps also if you prefer. As far as "D" mod stuff goes, My design software (Solidworks) will allow me to mount any powerhead to any clamp assembly. So if you want a "D" mod tower I can do that for you. As for pipes or stacks, By the time I laser scan my set of stacks to generate the geometry and chart the tool paths to machine or grow them in the EOS machine you will have a fortune into them...You would be better off to buy them from Eric Vanover, Duddly Malone, or one of the other pipe makers.

Sonny, how much do you charge for the tower and adaptor plate (302) and would you sell it all "unwelded", to be welded on my end? If you want, you can send me a PM.............thanks

                  Mike,
Yes the kit for the 80 is complete and made in the same style.

                      Top plate

This is the top plate of the tower. If you notice the back of the plate has been extended and has two holes in the same location as your stock tower for the steering bar. The intention is to mount your APBA kit pipe hanger bracket to the top of the plate.
