Carbon Fibre Cowling

So i got bored and thought i would try my hand at making a lighter cowling for my C-Mod laydown , i used the old one as a template and just applyed two coats of wax , then i gave it a coat of west sytems and layed the carbon material over it as it tacked off, I rolled it smooth with a little paint roller then gave it one more thick coat of epoxy , it popped right off when it dryed , it came out very strong and very very light so i went to my favorite Scottish resturant for dinner (McDonalds) to celebrate the weight I dropped about 7lb .

It cost me less than $50 and took under 4 hrs to do I couldn't loss 7lb in under 4 hrs unless I cut off some thing ) arm leg .
