      I was a officer in AOF at that time. Word had got out about the boat. We had the first race of the year at Creve Couer Lake in early May. Emmett ran the boat in C,D,E. I managed to beat him in D,E, he won C. I personally did not think the boat had a performance advantage. But when I got home that evening the phone rang off the wall with complaints from around the country. I knew then that it was going to be ruled against.You would be surprised the brouha this caused. In the end Granpa took the boat back and put a flat bottom on it. Still ran good after the change.

        Thanks 'Duck'. I apologize if I kinda hijacked your thread. Like everyone else here I love to share my experinces in boat racing, even if mine are from 'back in the day'.
