Trout Creek Montana Aug 26,27th and 28th

Well it is not that far off but we will be having the second annual Trout Creek Regatta. This will be the AOF Divisionals and should have a monster crowd of spectators. If last year was any indication of what is to come we will first have a big one mile course with big turns so you can really get going.

Also if things go like last year there will be a big barbeque for the participants and families along with a lot of horse shoe pitching till the wee hours of the morning.. Live band Saturday night and a added bonus is the fact that you can buy a drink or bottle and go outside with no problems.. But of course none of us would think of drinking.

Anyway the weather should be great and folks are real nice up in TC Montana and would love to see your smiley faces. I have also attached pictures of the race site as of today.. The water and beach area is ready to go.

Jeff, it is weird how each year our group has a different popular class or two. This year it is D Mod and 20SSH or Y-80.. In years past it was CSH and FEH so who knows what next year will bring.. I will say that as of the last 4 years nobody has had a runabout.. I guess no one is interested... But we do always say if you bring it we will run it and we have stuck to this.

The latest update: This is the plan as of right now. Water conditions are great but the beach comes and goes. They, the dam people, keep playing games but we can work with it..

Friday night after a day of testing they want us to put our boats on display up in front of the Lakeside from 6-9 We will bring two ATV's to transport.

Saturday racing from 11 to when we get done. BBQ as last year with live music and vendors.

Can't believe only one week till our race. So far the weather and water conditions have been great. Posters are up and the first article came out in the local paper.

Beware that if you are coming the mornings have been around 40 degrees with the afternoon temps in the high 80's to mid 90's

Received a phone call from KPAX (CBS) Television station this morning. They are hoping to get a sports caster out for a news story during the race. So polish those boats and tune those engines. This is our chance to show folks what we are all about and get some more folks involved.

It is happening in a big way.. In fact a big ad was in the local paper with a picture of your boat.. How did that happen?? We will be heading up there early tomorrow to start blowing up bouys.

Good to hear you are coming.. Is Lee Tietze coming to.. It depended on if his motor got fixed.. Jon Peterson and Sean Byrne are also coming.. Should be fun for sure
