  • EBay Stuff ... What do you think of this ...

Curious about your thoughts on the current prices that the old Merc 20H's seem to be getting ... see link below.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4502876552

I'm guessing that many of the members of this list probably have tons of this stuff ... or not?

As an added item ... WHO among you know where I can locate a Swift "Atomic A" ... been trying for years to find one that I can refinish/refurbish or dust off for memorabilia purposes ...

As Ron Selewach says ... "It's never too late for a good childhood"

PS: speaking of Ron ... what's the latest on the Hot Rod project ...
    Untethered from reality!

Lets see where this one goes to. I've got several myself I may part with if the price goes out of site like the last one that was sold on E-Bay several months ago.

I don't think it is going to sell at all. Maurry set the starting price too high. Had he used a reserve (with a low starting price) it might have gone up there ...

I have to agree. Best is to start low and have the reserve set high to perk the interest in the bidders. Sam, I'm in the starting process of restoring the Entrop R12 hydro and in need of a clear photo of the transon rudder that is operated by the steering bar on the 75H alky. I have evrything else to complete the boat as original except I have to make a rudder in my shop from SS. I guess at one time when the boat began circle racing the transom rudder was taken off and discarded. The bracket is there but that's all. Have you got a picture of it??

All I can tell you is it's the real thing and so is the 75H alky that came with it.
If everything goes according to plan you will see it at Mt Dora in two years.
Restoration has already begun on the boat and the 75H will be done this winter. I'll post pictures from time to time.
