Burlington, WI is back to 3 days!!!!!!

This just in from newly elected BSOA commodore Karl Stoll:

Burlington is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 29 and 30, 2005. This race will return to a three-day event. Judy, from the Jaycees, has confirmed that boat racing and the Chocolate Festival will be held on the same weekend. Spectator numbers will increase. It is strongly suggested that if you intend to be there, make your room reservations now.

Thanks for the info Bill. I hope I can make it there this year. Personally, I can go either way on the race format. On one hand, A day of testing would be nice for what is the first race of the season for many area racers. On the other hand, It's great to get three days worth of racing in at one site. I'll just need to do my testing ahead of time this year. I hope the river near my home is not flooded this spring! Folks get annoyed when I buzz through their backyards at full speed! "Look out for the clothes line!!"
Either way, I'm sure it'll be a great race weekend! It's a fantastic site supported by a good community and racing clubs.
