If all the information I have received is correct the capsule era started in 1996 with 1100ccH , if this is correct who was the first driver to win in a capsule with only capsules competing at DePue ?????

It was Dan Kirts in Randy Pringles Black MJR capsule boat at Depue. He was the first to win in the all capsule nationals, but it was a 700cc on the boat, not a 1100cc.

I think the 2 winningest drivers in the capsule class are Eddie Thirlby and Doug Hall

That is correct Rex . Eddie has 9 and Doug had 8. Now with the 2 Doug got this weekend , that makes 10 for Doug and he is the all-time capsule king of Lake DePue.

From watching ustream on friday and saturday, next years trivia should be, How many asian carp flew out of the water during races?. I thought someone said during the 350h race that one went threw a boat? In OSY on friday it looked like a couple jumped right in the first turn.
