I will guess Bill Van and Ralph Donald. If either of those are correct, I will guess years.

Scratch Fedderson and add Ralph Donald. I wasn't paying attention to the years.

          1 out of 2

Bill Van is one of the two , good job Tony , now take a stab at the year.

I want to say your dads was in 250 , but not sure.

            Bill

Taking a guess on Bill Van on 1986
Not sure of the other driver but was thinking of Larry Latta

bill van in 86 is one of the correct answers for question 3 but there is still one more to get. It is not Fedderson or Donald or Latta.

                question 4

While all the classes are fun to watch , speed is what get the race fans on the edge of their seat. Back in the day , ok maybe I am not old enough to use that phrase but who cares , a brave - or insert your own adjective -bunch of racers did their best to keep the painted side of a 700cc runabout facing the sky. That class is long gone but do you know who was the last driver to take home a National in the 700cc runabout class and what year was it??????

                    700r

We believe Todd Brinkman in 1986 won the title. Racnbns

                      700r

I agree with Bruce that Todd Brinkman won it in 1986

I would love to see a picture of Paul Bogoshian going up and over in "DRR" a number of years ago, right at the start. Fortunately he was alright, but was up toward the front when he blew over.

Paul blew it over 2 time that day with a barrowed motor (back to back heats)
His father jack was furious that (Bought motor he didn't want)

Sorry Buddy, but 700 R was done in 86. Last champ was Bruce Nicolson in Miss Laurie Beating Tom Kirts Sr with David Westbrooks 700 motor that I ended up with to win Worlds in 89. Seems Kirts thought that his reading of 105 on the straights was good, guess he forgot about Miss Laurie and Bruce. I think Todd won in 85 not sure on that one. Steve

                              Todd it is

Like I said at the start I am going by the programs and according to them the last National listed was in 1986 and Todd Brinkman won it. David Westbrook won the title in 1985. The last time it was listed in the program on the schedule was 1986. This may be a mistake but if can prove your theory Steve I will bring a bottle of Jack with me to Constantine.

                                Keep trying Tony

Sorry Tony that is also incorrect. You probably need to think out of the box to get the other driver who sweep the RB classes.
