  • Tohatsu - For Competition Only

Just a quick note to let you know that parts and engines are readily available if you are running a Tohatsu.

Call me 207-737-4570... or email me: netohatsu@myfairpoint.net... before 2pm (1400hrs) Eastern time, tell me what you need, give me a credit card number, and you can usually have your parts next day. For that service you pay a $12.50 drop-ship charge in addition to the regular FedX or UPS fee.

Need a set of factory reeds? The reed blocks are ONLY sold with reeds installed on them. I'll sell you a set of 3 for $99.00.

Want a M50D2 Tohatsu on a Bass Machines tower and gearfoot? call me.

        Tohatsu

On a short course the Tohatsu can normaly beat a Merc 44XS...it's loop charged as opposed to scavenged. On a longer course such as Yelm the Merc will win every time. David (if you want speeds I will send them to you in a pvt message)

          Tohatsu/44XS

As a side note..I have raced for going on 25 years, started out in CSH with a 30H and then went to DSH with a 55H...I can say in all honesty that a good running DSH, whether a Tohatsu or a 44XS, is maybe the best ride in boat racing....and that includes inboards and OPCs...I have drive most classes in APBA up the 5 litre class....and I still feel this way. We need to work on ways to promote the class...I know it's expensive...but maybe a Tohatsu/Mercury showdown? Just thinking out of the box....
