Crystal Lake

The Fishers Landing Racing Club held a regular meeting this evening. It was decided to celebrate the 15th consecutive year of the Crystal Lake race on the same-as-always date. Sadly,this conflicts with the Berwick,Pa. date. All other weekends in September were spoken for. Our options were to cancel for this year or go with our normal date.

Berwick will surely have a great event. Ours may divert a few participants,but Berwick will have a much greater impact on our attendance. We will plan for a fun ,compact event and hope that the conflict does not become an annual thing.

Last year there were about 8 ASR's, 7 or 8 BCR, 7 CSR and even 4 FER here....Some fantasic racing both out front and mid pack...

This could be Runabout country...be there!

I knew we could count on some Canadians,aye ! We have to time plan for a couple new twists to show our appreciation to participants.We have one new inexpensive,fun,old fashion "roadhouse" a couple miles from the race site.Great food,etc. Maybe we can commendere the place and burn my son's old hydro in the parking lot ?

Crystal Lake is a must do weekend for me I will be there
with a classic D and a Classic B runabout and a Classic B
Hydro also a C stock and 20ss. We need to get Classic D
on the Schedule. It's the Classics that makes this great
race site Unique.

Runabouts will rule at Crystal Lake

I will bring three pointy boats to Crystal Lake to run
two in CSR, two in 25ssR and a BCR and possibly a

I'm afraid I'm a tad confused here... When I read the word "Classic"... as in "Classic D" for instance. Are we talking about the boat? The motah? The Driver? What??

And, while we're at it... what the heck constitutes a: "Classic boat" ? A "Classic Motor"? and of course, what the heck is a "Classic Driver"? ie, is it an age-thing.., an attitude-thing..., or maybe just a state-of-mind?

Help me..... for I have fallen and cannot reach my beer!!!

And please keep in mind... the last thing the Mad Russian Racing establishment could care about is being politikly korrect.
