One mile is good - 3/4 better. Back around `90 Wakefield was so huge you had to install a cup holder for your water bottle and pack a lunch so you wouldn't starve during the heat. The first turn was so huge I never planted the fin to take it buoy-kissing close.
I think the course at Oroville last year was just a tick under a mile....And I remember Wakefield 06 was about a mile. More curious then anything else. If it was going to be a super long course I was going to order some long course props. Thanx so much for the info. Oh ya...Gweedo..you run in lane 19 anyway..lol...so a mile course turns into 1 1/3 for you.
Throw the buoys in the air? Just as long as we don't have to take a right turn; I already have a hard enough time going straight.... Oh, and Dave, I only run out there until I come to the apex, you should know that!
