Great, 2 Stock/Mod races within 4-5 hours of one another. Hello, anybody trying to make expenses/sponsor a race. Anyone want to run against full fields?????

                  Ray,

I appreciate your concern but Bob Koschka and myself spoke multiple times over the winter and we both agreed that would could live with the conflict as we really did not have another choice. Candlewick is a gated community and we had one weekend that they were willing to let us race and we took it, it is too good of a site to pass up. Huntington was in a similar situation and Bob picked what he thought was the best date. We also knew that the vast majority of the drivers going to Candlewick would not go to Huntington and vice versa if there were no conflict.

Again, I appreciate your concern but to Ray and those who complain here on HR.net about the schedule - give the leaders of the clubs some credit - we ALWAYS talk about the schedule well in advance of the upcoming season and we all are doing the best we can.

Pav-thanks for all the hard work you and the club do to put on the races. Sites are few and far between and everyone knows there are scheduling conflicts. So racers---make the best decision for yourself and stop bashing the clubs that are working diligently to keep their club racers racing!!!!!!!!!!!

                      Thanks Bill

                      Bill,
talked to Bob K about this as well and he told me you guys were as locked in on the venue as they were at Huntington. just have the feeling that we could do a lot of good to work together to put big fields and show on the water to a sponsor to make it easier to gain the financial stability that we need for boat racing. Not asking for every race to be that way, but a few that would help all.

Not trying to be a turd, just want the best for all.

                      Thanks for your note back!
                      Ray
