  • Engine gaskets

I have a connection at Cometic gaskets and I have contacted them about making gaskets for our racing engines. They told me all I need to do is produce new gaskets sets for each engine and a description for what each gasket is for and they can scan them and quote a price to me per each gasket. There is no fee for engineering or setup. My question is on our end, is this something as racers we would what to pursue to try and make racing more affordable to us as a whole? What engines should we look at getting gasket sets made for? Is there any type of approval we would need to get from APBA for the use of these gaskets? I know certain engine we can still get gaskets for because they are still being produced but on the other hand can we get the gaskets made better for the fact that we use these engines for racing and not recreational use. Please give me your feed back at let me know what you guys think.
