l know its not a runabout or hydro question but does any body know where l can find some info on the formula 500 class boat were i can get one, manufacturers ,rules , weight ect

Formula 500 or O-500 is raced in Europe under UIM rules. Suggest that you check out the Demmler Racing web-site for information on Trombetta Boats and VRP engines. Most Formula 500 boats are not legal for use with APBA 500 cc hydro.
