Here are a few pictures from our first race of the season from Elk River Idaho. Race was fast and furious with a lot of close competition. The weather was perfect after a nasty test session on Friday and we got little Gizmo running really good. As for the D mod there is always next race.

Tons of spectators as always here! Very cold water this year
Only one swimmer of the weekend and he is ok. Of course a little more stressful for fellow racers than normal since it was one of the novice youth drivers, I don't like to see anyone go for a swim and I worry for everyone, but when it's a kid everything changes. He later said to his parents "That water is REALLY cold! But at least I get a cool coffee cup"

Great to see racing friends after this never ending winter. Weekend was lots of fun,new accomdations were wonderful for our blue sky racing families! Two more weeks till we do it all again in Electric Ciity, WA.
