Hydroracer decals

As mentioned in the other thread we need hydroracer decals for our boats and trailers. As of now there are no hydroracer decals except for the small ones made by a few individuals. We need to come up with some flashy nice looking decals in two sizes as a promotion for the website and boat racing. Dan doesn't have time to do everything especially designing decals, so we the members need to step up and make this a contest or just a project and come up with some decals we can sell and have half the proceeds going to Dan. Surely we have members or friends with the capabilities to do this. Maybe we could come up with several designs and let Dan decide or the members vote on one. Could be something like the picture at the top of the page but can't be the same one because we are tired of looking at the Hooten boat Wish we could leave the boat number off so you could add your own number on your own decal. In addition to two sizes maybe have two separate decals one with a runabout and another with a hydro pictured. How about some input here and let's do something positive during the off season

If some one gives me a mockup of what to put on I can get them made cheap (and in CDN dollars). The guy who did my Abbott Racing logo does these for me.

All I need is Dan's electronic art file for the Hydroracer logo and I'll do the rest.

My initial proposal was to make the decals for Dan for free so he can sell them and raise money for the sight.

Great Idea Bob!Here is a web site that anyone can access to try their artistic abilitys for the logo.Once your in the site go to "custom sighn" section to make up your own desighn.Then you can print your idea and scan it off to Dan.This site is also very cool to desighn trailer and boat sighnage on as well. well.http://www.signsbyyou.com/

How about some ideas and imput on this. We need to get moving and we also need someone to be in charge of distribution and collecting for the decals once they are made. We don't want to just dump it on Dan!

Dennis we have several members here who can print them, what we are trying is to do is design a new sharp looking decal that we can print and distribute for everyone to put on their trailers and boats!

i don't now how busy Nate Forshey is but he made a sweet logo for the mod. nationals last year. I would maybe contact him and see if he might have the time to come up with something.
