Hello, I have located an Early D Swift Hydro. I say early because it has an 18" transom on it. Dick O'Dea told me that this was for the early KG9 with the longer tower (Q?). It does need to have canvas put on the bow and some wood damage repaired on the deck on the port side. What can anyone tell me about these boats. Anything else to look out for on them. I would hate to cut the transom down for the shorter motors, so I was maybe thinking of using a mid 50's 25hp Evinrude that I have. I also have a Johnson V-70 to fix up. Maybe that would be a fun set up to enjoy. Thanks.
