    That is really sad. Seems to be the theme for races this year with Stock Winter Nationals and a USTS race already cancelled and it is still only February.

      Is this because weather has impacted construction deadlines. Cuz, if someone has the power to predict the weather for August, I wish they would change the weather here at my house NOW.

      Welcome to hydroracer, we hope you enjoy your visit.

          .01 = $1.2 million

          I read a story about the price of gas. In the article it said that for every .01 increase in the price of gas , it takes $1.2 million out of the economy a day. That is $1.2mil less a day across the country people have to spend on goods and services and are putting in the gas tank. Eventually it has to effect hobbies such as boat racing , the local stock car tracks etc.

            the weather they have had up there has delayed the construction, and he feels at this time he (the GM of the track) that it would be better to cancle this at this time , rather than to try to rush things and not have it ready for us to run on, He is However excited to have us there in 2012

              Its nice to have the track management giving us advanced notice. think of the bummer/hassel if the race was canceled 2 or 3 weeks before the event!

              Its still a bummer, but theres always next year

                Opportunity

                Take this as an opportunity for everyone that races a kneel down boat to budget and plan to make it in 2012. This needs to be a real good turn out. If it is, and the politics stay at home, this will be a very large step towards the future of kneel down boat racing. Without going into details, it will change the game.

                    Lucas Oil Speedway

                    Nothing will happen till next fall. The Gm has so much on his plate with all construction & running the track. It will have to wait till after the race season is over.However we are going to stay in contact. We have discussed with the GM of doing multiple dates in 2012. He liked the proposal. So stay tuned it is going to happen.
