Realize most of you are not in the area... but it's here more to just let people know who have met the Webster's over the years.
Hi all!
This is a quick note to let you all know that Toronto Outboard Racing Club member and Stock Outboard racer John Webster has been inducted into the prestigious Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame! www.CMHF.ca
CONGRATULATIONS JOHN!!
The induction ceremony and gala dinner will take place in Toronto, Ontario on April 23 at the On The Park Convention Centre

This is a jacket/tie deal... I believe last year was the first time you didn’t have to wear a tux! Haha.
Tickets are $195 and come with an $80 charity tax receipt if requested.
There is good interest so far in people going. It’s a rare occasion and recognizing one of the boat racing world greats! To give you an idea... I believe John won 42 National Championships in his 51 years of competition and set 4 speed records in two countries! And did you know John joined TORC in 1952!! It’s founding year! And just stepped down as its President this past fall! Amazing!
Another thing that might interest you to the Gala is the guest speaker at this year’s dinner is race car great Bobby Rahal.
