  • Chine walking?

    Is this what is referred to as chine walking? Got this picture from my GoPro cam while running a heat of 750 hydro.

    Chine walking is when running the boat, that the boat is rocking back and forth from side to side on the chines.

      Yeah, looks like you're "chine walking" through 20 foot surf off the Oregon coast on a very bad day!

          But you can call it neck craning.

          From watching the incident unfold in person I could tell you my opinion of what happened. Wait, I think I did once they got you into shore.

            Still find it hard to believe I was able to keep it right-side-up after all the spray settled. Thanks for all your help Dave with getting the rig dried out for the next heat. You can count on the favor returned...but hopefully not needed.
