I just wanted to drop some info. I raced boats for a little over 21 years. I pretty much grew up in racing, spending most of my childhood at the races. Last year I had to make the difficult and painful decision to step out of the boat once and for all for multiple reasons. I have always felt like being in racing it was more of a family more so than it was just showing up to race. We all have our rivals that we compete with, but that just seemed to make you closer to each other off the course.

When I made the decision to step out, I put all my equipment up for sale. I have sold a good majority of things and still have some left. I have sold boats all over the country, gear, and props to alot of guys.Actually one of our wheels won a nationals this year in a certain class. I have sent some pieces of equipment out to guys I had raced with and been around for a long time trusting that I would get paid. I have a couple guys who have had some equipment for about six months and I have not gotten the equipment back or the money. One person has two of my mod wheels and had told me that he wanted to purchase them as they were fast wheels. We stayed in contact for a few weeks back and and forth, he asked if he could send me the money after the nationals, and I agreed. Since the Nationals I have had one response on how he did, and no more. I can not get a return email nor a phone call. At this time I will not name any of the people as I am trying to make this last attempt to get the items returned or paid for. I am an easy go guy and will work with anyone, but at least let me know whats going on. I am going to repost an update in about a week and let everyone know how the things are going. If at that time I have heard nothing, I will definatley let everyone know who these people are so you can avoid dealings with them.

I have never had this problem with our racing family before and thought I could trust the people I was comfortable with but I guess not. I will look for a response soon as I know these people will know who they are.

Thanks for reading this and I hope you all can understand my frustrations on this issue.

    Bump bump...

Kev, this shows the class you and your father have, a simple reminder to someone dropping the ball, instead of calling them out right off the bat. I bet this will result in a payment or at least get the ball rolling. I hope it all works out for ya and let me know if I can help... Hope all is well down there, Greg & Co.

Kevin & George have been more than gracious with sending out stuff to try. We've picked up a couple of GOOD props.

Kev sorry you are owed money my friend--- but this is not the place to do your laundry. Remember first rule if ya can't afford to lose it do not lend it.

            $$$$$$$$

Thanks for the support guys. I have always given people the benifit of the doubt before blowing anyone out of the water. I am not trying to do laundry, I am trying to do what a family does and that is protect them. I am trying to not let the ones I consider my family get screwed, the rest doesn't matter.

              Thanks

Just want to say thanks Kevin for giving me the chance to purchase some of your equipment. Everything is as good or better than you described. Email me to see if you still have something I may need. rball82@yahoo.com
